Diagnosis

We will talk about your health and I will listen to your account of your symptoms.

We will undertake some investigations (tests) – typically these might include blood tests, imaging studies (CT scans/ MRI scans), endoscopies (looking into your bowels), nuclear medicine scans and breath tests. The tests and their results will all be explained to you.

I will explain the likeliest causes of your symptoms.

Treatment

We will discuss the pros and cons of different treatment approaches and together we will agree a way forward.

I work closely with dietitians, therapists and surgeons and may recommend you see a colleague.

Care

We will stay in communication to ensure the resolution of your symptoms and if required monitor your response to treatment and screen for any potential side effects.
